Kadokawa to start website offering free manga:
Gundam THE ORIGIN full color.
Publishing giant Kadokawa Corp. announced March 3 that it will launch a website to allow users free access to some of its manga in a bid to foil the illegal copies that are circulating on the Internet.
Starting on March 22, ComicWalker will provide manga, including the latest stories, in Chinese (traditional characters) and English, in addition to the Japanese versions.
“Non Non Biyori” and “Nobunaga the Fool” are among the 200 stories that are to be offered online.
Users will have access to the first three stories and the latest installment of serial comic strips from 23 magazines that Kadokawa issues, plus 50 original stories that the website is offering. The latest episodes will be updated online two weeks after they are published.

出版大手「ＫＡＤＯＫＡＷＡ」は３日、マンガ２００作品の最新話などを無料で読めるウェブサービス「ＣｏｍｉｃＷａｌｋｅｒ（コミックウォーカー）」を２２日から始める、と発表した。英語・中国語（繁体字）版も用意する。
掲載予定作は「のんのんびより」「ノブナガ・ザ・フール」など。同社が出す２３誌の連載作のほか「ＣｏｍｉｃＷａｌｋｅｒ」オリジナルの５０作もある。各作品の第１～３話と最新話が読める。連載誌発売から約２週間後に更新する。
新サービスの目玉として、雑誌では一部のみカラーだった「機動戦士ガンダム ＴＨＥ ＯＲＩＧＩＮ」「新世紀エヴァンゲリオン」（共に連載終了）を、全ページカラー化して配信する。
