The Hatsune Miku Good Smile BMW car won its first GT300 race at the Super GT International Series Malaysia at the Sepang Circuit on Sunday. Drivers Nobuteru Taniguchi and Taku Bamba turned in a time of 1:34’10.601 after taking the pole position at the start. The team had placed 4th and 5th in this year’s first two races in Fuji Speeedway and the Fukuoka International Circuit in April and May.
The Pacific NAC Ika Musume Ferrari car was #3 at 46.432 seconds behind, followed by EVANGELION RT TEST-01 IM·JIHAN Shiden at #10 (1’34.158 behind) and Mach Go Go Go Syaken RD320R at #12. The Haruhi Racing Hankook Porsche team did not participate.
