G – Who is blublek studio in the Gunpla Modelers World? And where do you come from?
B – hello all gunpla friend,my name is Ifan Cusianto,from Indonesia..to be honest,i’m nobody in gunpla modelers world..just a common person who fall in love with gunpla modification..:)
G – When did you start building Gunpla?
And when did you made your first Custom?
B – my first build was 5 years ago (2009),a HG 144 Blaze Zaku Phantom..then I never build anymore until 2010..just not interested XD
I can’t forget my first custom which is MG unicorn..i had an accident in may 2010..I have my right foot broken after playing soccer and need 5 months of recovery.. that’s the first time I modify gundams,killing time with playing gundam..i guess,God have a good plan for me..:D
G – Do you have some inspiration for your creations?
B – in my first year of modifying, Kenny lim aka toymaker,julius lim and mr.eday are my inspiration..staring at their pages and blog every day,saving all their masterpieces in my computer..but,i have to give my biggest appreciation to my menthor mr.Fernando vincensius for all his guidance and modelling knowledges..
G – After you have finished snap-fitting a model, from where do you start to mod it?
B – each gundam has their own characteristics..some are easier to start from upper parts,some are easier to start from the back,it depends on the ideas too..but,I have this kind of habit,i always built 2 same kit before modifying a kit so I can observe the 1st one while I work on the other one..it will make me easier to work,such as where to start after snapfitting 🙂
G – What do you think about Gunpla in all the World? modelers, attitude, modelers behavior etc..
B – I think that gunpla has been the most important thing that Japanese ever found..they help develop children’s brain,teach them patients, discipline, and a lot of good things, parents should know this..i’m working with a modellers team here, trying to educate young generations with gunplas..
I can’t talk about other modellers attitude and behavior.. I put my self as a professional artist..people will respect my works more when they knew that i’m such a good and humble person..it’s no use to have the greatest masterpiece in the world if people hate you because you are a bad person,right? 🙂
G – What do you think about GBWC Event?
B – GBWC is a great event..it’s already like annual event where all modellers arround the world compete each others..but..GBWC is not the most important thing to determine a modeller quality.. masterpieces born from they who love and passionate of doing what they love the most,not from competitions..
G – Please some advices for modelers that wanna start building a gunpla for the very first time!
B – make friends with other modellers, be humble and take advices, open Gunjap.net every day,and buy original product!
I’m not saying that i’m a brand product specialist,but, to end up pro,you got to start like a pro..a pro soccer player would never use bad quality shoes..
For those who already prepare to became a pro modeller, stop buying kits and start buying tools.. modellers and collectors,they’re not the same..
Tools,upgrade parts,metal parts,decals,photo etched,etc.. they’re like insurance,buy them before you need them..;)
