G – Who is chumie in the Gunpla Modelers World? And where do you come from?

C – well, i was nobody, just a girl who loves gunpla so much, until i won the Indonesian regional GBWC in 2013..

G – When did you start building Gunpla?
And when did you made your first Custom?

C – my very first build gunpla is SD sangokuden sun sang xhiang, built in 2009, just snapfit.. I have no idea how to build it nicely.. I painted it with marker and it was aweful. (i had repainted it with hand brush now)
Then on 2012, I joined a workshop, brought by Ifan Cusianto, and after that, I decided to get serious on gunpla world..

My first custom was HGUC zaku sniper. Didn’t do much on it, just added some metal parts and repainted it. It’s for the local competition at March 2013, which I didn’t won..
It is my first air brush painted gunpla too..

G – Do you have some inspiration for your creations?

C – of course.. Even though i didn’t search for gundam blogs (i only open gunjap.net , and 2 other blogs) and i don’t read forums that much, but i have some modelers who inspire me a lot.. Kenny Lim (toy maker), Shuneige, and Eday’s work is so amazing so that I push myself to learn more..
And my beloved mentor, teacher, friend, Ifan Cusianto, who teach me, guide me, not just about modifying and customing gunpla.. Yeah, he gave a big impact to me..

G – After you have finished snap-fitting a model, from where do you start to mod it?

C – anywhere i like.. Which one is the easiest one, then I do it first.. While waiting for that parts to dry or i get bored, I move to other parts.. Sometimes I move to other kit to do.. So i don’t get bored or stressed with one part only..

G – What do you think about Gunpla in all the World? modelers, attitude, modelers behavior etc..

C – gunpla is not just a hobby.. It’s the way of living.. Gunpla teach you to be patient, be precise, be consistent, and a lot of positive things from gunpla.. But too bad, some people still see gunpla as toys and underestimate it..

About modelers’ attitude and behavior, well, as far as i know, they are nice.. They share tips and tricks, they give suggestions, and they respect each other..

G – What do you think about GBWC Event?

C – GBWC is good.. Is the way bandai appreciate modelers. But GBWC is not everything tho.. You can’t just get satisfied by winning GBWC.. We have to keep learning and learning. It will never be enough 🙂

G – Please some advices for modelers that wanna start building a gunpla for the very first time!

C – just do it! Yes, just do it..
Gunpla is fun. Build your very fist gunpla, then decide what do you want to do with your gunpla. If you love to enjoy them the way it is, build it nicely (there are basic building tutorials on youtube), if you want to start modifying and customing, try it.. Ask someone you know to teach you, then just let it flow..
Keep learning and enjoy the gunpla world..

And the most important part is, buy Original product..
