Hello!
I would like to share my latest build – the 1/144 RG Exia – Roll-Out version.
I wanted to achieve a clean look which is extremaly difficult to me as I just love weathering, but I think I’ve managed to do it. What took the longest time was decaling – in the end I have applied 262 decals on this small 1/144 scale kit and I think that’s my new record (although now that I look at it I might have squeezed a few more here and there 😛 ).
I’ve used Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics and for the first time Alclad II lacquer paint for the inner frame and metallic parts. I’ve made 2 version of V-fin – normal yellow one just like in the official line arts and a yellow one which actually looks better because of all the yellow HIQ Parts decals dotted all around. I’ve also made a custom base – although very simple one this time.
