Zogok “The devil revives from the abyss”

1/144 Diorama: Zogok “The devil revives from the abyss” full info, images and wip

From the Modeler:

This work was submitted to OraZaku in 2020. I made a diorama that complements Zogok as a strange monster.
The stage is an undersea temple on the Mediterranean coast. The story is that a lost federal reconnaissance unit was suddenly attacked by a strange monster that emerged from the seabed.

The MS used is HGUC’s Zogok, Gogg, HG’s GM Intercept Custom, and the old kit Agguy and Beargguy family mixing.

Zogok, the protagonist, has a tight weathering. GM Kai’s neck and arms were torn off, and his fingers were newly built with putty. GM head is unlikely to be MS, but he added details like the spine. The image is a monster appearance scene from a disaster movie.

GM who plays the role of being killed. We remodeled the intercept with good range of motion and details, and made it a general machine setting. In addition, the color scheme is similar to GM Kai. Based on the concept of a newcomer who has no experience in actual battles, the weathering of the upper body is sweet, and the damage to the legs that received the boomerang cutter, the machine gun, and the legs when falling is painful.

A supporting character, Agguy. The mono-eye compound eye is reproduced by sandwiching a mesh plate in a clear resin molded from a button battery. The creeping tentacles feel erotic.

Gogg has not been modified. As with the others, the weathering is tight and the mono eye is equipped with LEDs.

Zogok did not mess with the basic proportions so much, but described it as “a devil who kills the weak federation with his bare hands” with streaks to improve the details, scratches on his hands and the remains of GM.

The diorama base was made from Styrofoam + clay + bark chips. The size is 250mm * 250mm, which is small compared to placing 4 MS machines.

For coloring, acrylic paint was diluted with water and smeared with jabjab to mix the colors. The rock surface is reflected near the surface of the sea to give it a bright color, and a gradation is added so that it gets darker as it goes up. The sea surface is green
I poured the resin mixed with the colorant and made waves with big waves and small waves.
Wiring and power supply are placed at the bottom of the diorama. The resin leaked into this space and it was a big deal …
Small items such as temple pillars and debris were made of paper clay.
It was the first diorama, the first weathering, the first airbrush painting and all the challenges. There are some immature parts, but it was fun because I was able to shape the scenery I imagined to some extent!
