Custom build 1/144 Ground Big Gun “Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt Gaiden 3” images, WIP, info

I made the “Big Gun for ground battle mode” that appeared in “Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt Gaiden 3”. The kits used are “Zaku II + Big Gun Set” and “EX Model Magella Attack”. I made Gouf Custom set up and tried to reproduce the scene in the play that I am about to launch right now.
For painting and weathering, I ve used my know-how in AFV model production. Although it is matte overall, the barrel is shining with metal color irons to accentuate it. Weathering was applied while considering the harsh operating environment of the desert.
Thankfully, the EX model Magella Attack is included in one kit, so I used both Magella bases. One is almost the same, but the other is carefully separated with a leather saw as shown in the photo.
The connection between the tripod and the Magella base was made by myself with reference to the setting image. Three sets of the same shape are available.
Since the connection between the tripod and the Magella base has the same design, I decided to duplicate it with silicone rubber and cast. At this time, full-scale duplication was my first challenge, so I read the instruction manual carefully and worked carefully.
Since the air bubbles were conspicuous in the replica by casting, the holes were filled with light-curing putty and shaped with a file. I also use commercially available detail-up parts and plastic rods.
I’m checking the balance before putting it on the Magella base. I used my nerves to adjust the height so that normal size MS such as Zaku and Gouf can grip naturally.
