Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket
The Zaku notices Al rushing towards them, and although they both apply emergency braking, it reaches its limit and collapses, and the Gundam catches it.
Al is persuading Bernie at the feet of the Zaku, saying, “You don’t have to fight anymore!”, while Bernie is trying to calm the excited Al.
Chris is watching over the Gundam’s cockpit with kindness.
Alex has damage such as a right arm broken in the battle with the Zaku, and chest armor blown off by a bomb trap.
A mechanism has been added to the back of the cockpit hatch, and LEDs have been placed inside.
The Zaku’s cockpit interior is illuminated with a homemade sheet. I also added damaged parts such as the left arm and side armor.
Chris next to the cockpit was made with and without a helmet.
The details inside the cockpit hatch were based on the scene in episode 6 where Chris is rescued.
Checking the composition during production.
The base was made by stacking A4-sized polystyrene foam and surrounding it with plastic board.
Lightweight paper clay was laid down for the grass, and painted with a green base.
The gouged parts were painted brown first, and the grass part was covered with grass powder for dioramas.
