HGUC 1/144 Egba’s MS-06GD Zaku High Mobility Type (Surface Type) Southern Cross Corps Casablanca Street Battle Diorama: images, info and credits
The MS-06GD Zaku High Mobility Type (Surface Type) are custom mobile suits used by the Southern Cross Corps in Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island.
From the Modeler:
I made a diorama based on the image of the city battle of Casablanca in the movie. The buildings are even bigger!
But it’s not really a diorama. It’s more like a building base.
The electric poles are also a modern Japan-style diorama.
The high-mobility Zaku ground model is cool. The whole thing is slightly dirty with an airbrush.
The heat daggers are well sculpted but not suited for actual combat. The reach is short!
The Southern Cross unit’s performance in the Battle of Casablanca was remarkable. The Zeon allies were overjoyed! “Oh! The Southern Cross unit has come!?” they said! Buckshot!
This is a straight assembly with no modifications or alterations. After applying a gunmetal primer as a base, it is finished with airbrush painting.
The included water transfer decals are cut out and transferred using masking, and then painted. It’s quite difficult.
