Event “Zone of the Enders HD-Night”:

Kojima Productions unveiled images from its Zone of the Enders HD Edition game collection on Friday. The website also announced that the “high speed robot action” game bundle will ship in Japan on October 25.
Zone of the Enders HD Edition will include remastered high-definition versions of the 2001 PlayStation 2 game Zone of the Enders and its 2003 sequel Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner Special Edition (known in Japan as Anubis: Zone of the Enders Special Edition). This version of the Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner game, previously unreleased in North America, features additional cutscenes, difficulty modes, and missions.
The bundle will include new opening animation that links the two games. The re-release will feature a frame rate improved from 30 frames per second to 60 frames per second. The collection will also include improved background music and sound effects as well as other updates.
Konami will release the game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in regular and premium editions. The regular disc version will cost 3,980 yen (about US$50), while the downloadable version will cost 3,480 yen (US$44). The Premium Package version will cost 8,980 yen (US$113) and include a “Chronicle Book,” “Reboot Book,” and “Zone of the Enders Reboot Edition” music CD. The Konami Style online shop’s special Premium Package edition will also bundle the Zone of the Enders: Idolo original video anime on Blu-ray Disc and cost 9,980 yen (US$125). A PlayStation Vita version of the game is planned.
Metal Gear Solid game designer Hideo Kojima unveiled images from a Zone of the Enders sequel project at the “Zone of the Enders HD-Night” event on Friday. Kojima announced that Ryosuke Toriyama will produce the project.
The images reveal that the new title will have a different mood than previous games in the series and incorporate fantastic elements and demon-like creatures. However, Kojima said that the producers do not plan change the Zone of the Enders games’ basic nature in the new project.
